“How’d you make us look this good?”
That’s the thing I hear most from my couples when they get their photos back.
So before you start scrolling through and looking through my portfolio, thinking that you’re too awkward, or uncomfortable in front of a camera to see your own gallery here, I want to assure you that many of the couples you see on this page felt the exact same way before their elopement day.

“So, How Exactly Will You Make Us Look Good?”
…you’re probably wondering. It has a lot to do with my approach to elopement photography.
I bring you to really beautiful places. Not only does that make for good photos, but it’s awe-inspiring to my couples. Instead of focusing on posing, they’re caught up in the beauty of the moment, which shows up in the photos as a reflection of the land and your love.
Most of the time, you won’t need to do anything but exist for awesome landscapes and wide-angle photos in Colorado or Moab. For some photos, I will prompt you in the most natural way possible. Prompts and poses do not need to be complicated for good shots.
When I say I’m like a bear with a camera, it means that I know when to be quiet and blend into the landscape. I never want you to feel like a camera is constantly in your face, so when I can give you space, I will. When I am more involved, it’s once you’ve already settled into the wonder of the day, so it feels natural and normal.
While I’m organized to a fault, I’m also calm and down-to-earth. I want you to enjoy your elopement day and that includes you feeling safe, comfortable, and taken care of. When you feel like you can let loose and be yourself with the love of your life, the photos become very freaking cool in a vulnerable, magical way.
TLDR: The couples in these photos are just like you.
Nervous. Excited. Unsure how it would all unfold, and so glad they went for it.
This Might Be Your First Elopement, But It’s Not Mine.
From wild mountain ranges in Colorado to the red rock canyons in Moab, I know these places like home, because they are. Take a look around, you’re in the right place.
